Images/Screen Print (Part 2)

What did I do? This is my edited print screen image. I erased the names of the parts of a flower. I did this because I thought it would be a good study guide, worksheet, or quiz for students to use. They could write in the parts of the flower themselves. I used the paint program to edit this image. The file type I used was jpeg. I don't know the file size of my image. I acquired my image by going to a website and clicking both the alt and print screen keys. I then used the paint program to crop the picture and edit it however I wanted. It was easy to edit becaus the paint program has a bunch of different tools that you can use. I used this website to guide me in doing my screen print image. It was very helpful.

What did I learn? I learned how to edit my print screen image. I learned how to crop and edit it in the Paint Program.

How could I use it? I could use it in my classroom for worksheets, quizes, and tests. This would be a great study guide for my students.

Get a Delicious Account

What did I do? Today I created my Delicious Account. I thought it was fairly easy to understand. I also think it will make my educational websites easy to find. I'm still looking for more websites to add to it. I added the website to my blog layout. This will be great for my future students because they can look up helpful internet sites and save them so they can go back later on and see them. Here is the link to my account.

Get an Idea

I have decided that the idea I am going to teach through a variety of technology is going to be sequencing of events. I notcied when I was doing my first clinicals that students had a hard time with this concept, so hopefully I can come up with several differnt ways of teaching it.

Final Review

Today I read over the final review and looked at the ISTE standards. I believe I understand the review and am glad that Dr. Pierce stated that he will be distibuting the work among us. That will make it a lot easier since we won't have to do as much work. Here is a link to the ISTE standards that we will need to know as well as what we will be covering this semester.

Get a Blog on Blogger - Introductory Post

Today I set up my blog. In the assignment it said we had to create an introductory post so this is mine. I'm Gabrielle Beech and I'm from Bridgeport. I'm still an undergraduate student but the Promise Scholarship pays for three graduate classes so I decided to go ahead and take three this semester to see if I wanted to get my masters in reading. So hopefully I decide to keep with it and not switch programs. I am Vice President of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at Fairmont State. I also just got a waitressing job. I love my family and friends therefore any free time I have I'm always spending it with them.
